Vancouver is set to host seven of this summer’s FIFA World Cup matches, and we’re absolutely thrilled. Known for its stunning natural scenery, the city is a dream destination for outdoor activities.

Where the Matches Happen

If you’re headed to a match in Vancouver, you’ll be making your way to BC Place Stadium, located in the downtown area. This stadium is the official venue for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the city, hosting seven matches in total. Of those seven, five will be group stage matches and two will be knockout rounds, bringing all the excitement to this vibrant destination. 

Matches begin as early as June 13 and continue throughout the summer until July 7. 

Downtown Vancouver is a beautiful, highly walkable area filled with high-rise buildings, restaurants, shops, and close proximity to the Vancouver Seawall. Be sure to give yourself plenty of time to navigate the area, as events like these can create significant traffic and crowds. Plan to arrive early to avoid any delays.
