Yellowface by R.F. Kuang

Things We Never Got Over by Lucy Score

Steamy isn’t enough of an adjective to describe this book. A steamy, slow-burn small-town romance with heart, humor, and enough drama to keep you hooked and coming back for more! Things We Never Got Over follows Naomi, a runaway bride who finds herself in a small town and the urge to never be found. This is a great summer read because it’s equal parts emotionally satisfying and romantic. Filled with sizzling chemistry and tons of lovable side characters. This is a great book to get lost in during the summer heat!
The Wedding People by Alison Espach

A witty and moving novel that covers unexpected connections, grief, and starting over, all occurring in the midst of a luxury wedding weekend. The Wedding People follows a woman losing herself to heartbreak and checks into a seaside hotel, only to find herself mistaken as a guest to a lavish wedding and she decides to go along with it. This book is a wonderful read for the summer as it’s filled with humor and heartfelt moments, exploring how strangers can become lifelines at just the right time. A wonderful book to read while on vacation or lounging by the pool!
