Just like that–we’ve made it past the halfway mark of 2025. That means it’s time for a little check-in and a chance to revisit the goals, visions, and intentions we set at the start of the year.

If you find yourself caught in the midst of the summer rush, feeling pressure to accomplish things you planned back in January, don’t beat yourself up about it. Instead, put that energy toward pausing, reflecting, and resetting. This is your personal halftime show–your intermission to reflect, realign, and do what’s best for you. 

Read on for a few ways to revisit and reset at this mid-year point!  

Reflect: What goals did you set at the start of the year? 

Revisit your journal, notes app, vision board, or whatever medium you used to set your intentions for the year. Ask yourself: Are these goals still relevant? Why did I set them? Do they still align with what I want now? 

Check-in: Celebrate what you’ve already accomplished 

Take a moment for a reality check and be real with yourself. What have you achieved so far? A win is a win–no matter how small it may seem. Take the time to acknowledge the setbacks and distractions too, because they’re part of the journey and often come with meaningful lessons. Honor the progress you’ve made and give yourself grace. It’s okay if your goals have shifted–that’s part of growth. Celebrate the best way we know how, with a little self-care!

Reset: Rewrite goals that no longer align 

If your original goals no longer fit, it’s okay to let them go. Release them with confidence. If it’s not serving you, it simply isn’t for you and that’s valid. 

On the other hand, if some of your goals and intentions still align with your heart and mind but haven’t yet been achieved, reflect on what you can change or do differently that will help you get there. This is the time to readjust and reset. 

Recommit: Choose 1-3 new goals to focus on 

Let go of the “do more” mindset and shift into a “do what matters” mentality. Notice how that shift changes everything. Instead of listing everything you think needs improving, focus on just a few things that will truly make a difference. 

Create a personal theme to guide you through the rest of the year. Try filling in the blank: 

“The rest of 2025 is about…” 

Realign: Small habits, big impact  

Now that you’ve reflected and reset your goals, start small. Break them into bite-sized steps.  Create rituals instead of rigid routines, and make sure your environment supports your intentions. 

Celebrate your progress and wins (both big and small), celebrate your growth, and celebrate the fact that you’re checking in and being intentional with your vision by revisiting goals. 

Give yourself grace. Show yourself a little compassion, and remember: there’s still so much time left in this year–you can do a lot with it!✨
