The Golden Globes gave us plenty to talk about long after the night ended, offering inspiration for future everyday looks and building excitement for the rest of award season ahead.

Read on to discover the moments we felt deserved a second wave of attention!

The Wins Everyone’s Talking About

This year’s wins struck a thoughtful balance between well-deserved recognition and moments that felt exciting and unexpected. The awards are about more than just the trophies themselves, they also symbolize career momentum, creative risks, and shifting industry narratives. Seeing diversity reflected not only across categories but also among the winners is especially meaningful, reinforcing the importance of representation for audiences watching from home.

A few wins that stood out to us:

  • Best Motion Picture – Drama had a strong pool of nominees, with Hamnet ultimately taking home the award.
  • KPop Demon Hunters won Best Motion Picture-Animated as well as Best Original Song, continuing to highlight how influential global pop culture has become in recent years.
  • The Secret Agent, a Brazilian film, won Best Motion Picture – Non-English Language, a win we love to see as international storytelling continues to shine.
  • Best Supporting Actress went to Teyana Taylor, whose win was followed by a heartfelt message that was felt by many. Best Supporting Actor was awarded to Stellan Skarsgard for his outstanding work in Sentimental Value
  • Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Musical or Comedy was awarded to Rose Byrne for her role in If I Had Legs I’d Kick You, while Timothee Chalamet took home Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Musical or Comedy for his role in Marty Supreme.

These are just a handful of the night’s many notable wins. There were countless performances and projects, winners and nominees alike, that deserve recognition and can be explored further here

Fashion and Red Carpet Moments

While award shows keep us busy tracking nominees, winners, and emotional acceptance speeches, there’s another major highlight that never fails to capture attention: the fashion. This year’s red carpet fashion leaned into statement-making silhouettes and confident styling choices. From modern takes on classic glamour to risking it all on looks that sparked up conversation across the internet, the Golden Globes once again proved why it’s one of the most exciting carpets of the season.

One standout moment for us that we have to share was Tessa Thompson in Balenciaga. The silhouette beautifully and seamlessly blended modern and classic glam, while the color and texture made it a bold, unforgettable statement.

A Viral Moment We Won’t Forget

Teyana Taylor, who won Best Supporting Actress, followed the acceptance of her award by delivering a powerful and heartfelt message that quickly spread across social platforms. She dedicated her award, “to my brown sisters and little brown girls watching tonight…we belong in every room we walk into. Our voices matter, our dreams deserve space.”

It was a beautiful moment of affirmation, one that showed her support not only for her fans, but for her community as a whole. A powerful message of belonging, confidence, and possibility that will stay with audiences long after award season ends.

With the Golden Globes officially behind us, it serves as a reminder that award season is now in full swing. The wins, fashion, and cultural moments we witnessed have set the tone for what’s to come, and we couldn’t be more excited for the award shows ahead. Happy award season!
